A legacy that provides a lesson for all

“We survive against adversity, not by doing others down, but through respectful relationships with those from whom we differ.” – Lord John Alderdice

December 15 was the 175th birthday of John King, an Australian explorer and great, great grand uncle to Lord Alderdice. It serves as a lesson to all. http://www.lordalderdice.com/blog/king-has-behaved-nobly/

John, Lord Alderdice, by profession a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and politician, was one of the key negotiators of the Good Friday Agreement that brought peace to Northern Ireland. He was a key speaker at CASSE’s Reconciliation Forum in September 2013.
