“Indigenous women’s sand stories from Central Australia are a traditional form of narrative in which storytellers incorporate speech, song, sign, gesture and drawing.”
Jennifer Green has studied the unique language of these sand stories extensively and will be sharing her knowledge and launching her book on the topic at a public lecture. The lecture will be held on Tuesday, 16 September 2014, from 6 – 8.30 pm at The University of Melbourne.
